PCB Milling/Engraving forum

Please oh please can we have a PCB Milling forum. I have spent the last two years researching and I'm building my first machine now. If anyone else agrees with me please make your mark on this thread.

I would love to have a forum for this. I too am looking to try my hand at this in the (hopefully) near future.

one suggestion, though.. if anyone posts sample G-code and results information, i would be interested in knowing:

A) the theoretical resolution of their machine (i.e... TPI of lead screw,
microstepping settings,
backlash if any, etc )

B) cutting bit used (sourced if possible.. this has been covered in depth
already, but new sources sometimes appear)

C) software used. (I imagine Eagle will be the most common.. I believe it
was Eagle that allowed the add-ons to create G-Code,
wasn't it?)

Anything i missed that we would be interested in having covered?

Too bad we can't just move all the previous threads covering this topic into one area to be condensed down and more readily researched.

*EDIT* Hmm.. layout was not retained when i saved the message, so sorry the formatting is off a bit.. tried to make it neat, but didn't seem to keep the extra spaces i added to the beginning of each line to format the layout..
