I was trying to think of ways to help Katrina victims or shortly Rita. I was thinking that the lively hood of most people and there families was there jobs. It would be nice the people at CNCzone could offer free or discounted industrial services to industry or business. I know I wouldn't care to turn a part or two for free if it meant helping a business that has been devastated get back on its feet. At the same time I know most shops has usefull materials that has buried under a metal pile for last 10 years and will probably end up in the scrap hopper. They are plenty of people in the CNCzone with top-notch state of art equipment out there that could help. A forum would be nice that would allow members to interface with people from the disasters. You would just have to be careful about who you were trying to help or support because people would try to take advantage of it.
