Exclamation Seperate forum for Epoxy Granite

    Hello,

The Epoxy Granite Thread is maturing. Other's are starting threads in other forums based on what is being taught/learned/discovered/experienced in the EG thread.

My concern is with the increase of EG projects, the information will start to become fragmented in different forums and thus difficult keep up with new emerging threads.

    Some suggested names:
    Epoxy Granite
    Polymer Composites
    Polymer based Machine Construction
Or simply put it up for a vote.

    Something along that style.

    Comments?

    Thanks,
    Jack

Agreed! I would like to read and learn, but the single thread is HUGE and fragmented, and as new threads start in scattered areas it will become very difficult to keep up with it. A single forum to allow diverse discussion on a single theme is the point of the board, right? Sounds like a perfect argument for it...

I believe it's the best way to go!

I suggest "Epoxy Granite" for the forum name.

    Best regards

Its time for Moderators to decide & act, i think further discussion on this is not required.

    Thanks Paul,

I was hoping for a forum off the root for better visibility.

"CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net! > Epoxy Granite"

EG is more of an engineering process that give one the ability to not only build machines, but parts such as linear bearings, gears, etc. Plus refitting existing machine for better vibration damping.

Heck I've experimented making Lego's with 100% Zeospheres and 10% epoxy! I just need a better molding process. But I digress.

    Comments?

    Best Regards,
    Jack
