My last Stirling engine (Alpha type)

Hello everybody,

I am a new here. I just registered.

This is my last production. A Stirling engine : YouTube - Stirling type Alpha
It has made his firsts revolutions for the first time two days ago. At this stade it runs at 1040 RPM max. It is a homemade design. But it is not finished. I designed it as a four cylinders engine. So if it has only two cylinders for the moment, it will have 4 cylinders soon and maybe 6, why not.

As a next step, I want to try to pressurize it, to increase the power.

Bye

very cool!

Very nice work! Do you have plans to release the plans? I think this would be small enough to build on my tools. -Keith

Fantastic Job!

Funnily enough I was just looking at some of Rudy Kouhoupt's engines when I saw this post! Very nice machining!

cheers,
Ian
