I can get locally a M093-FD-406 450 OzIn and an M093-FD11 300 OzIn both NEMA 34 for $80 CAN each (used). I'm working towards a 4x4' CNC router, are they big enough for x/y drives and is this a good deal? Should I have any concerns with used gear like this? Thanks Mike |

| Agreed they are a bit high $ and old at that. Guy wouldn't budge on the price saying they were $300 motors new. I already had a basket of stuff I was going to purchase and just walked out. No deals no sale here. I've seen these bigger/new motors for sale on the web but it appears that most ship international via UPS or not to Canada at all. UPS (or FedEx) brokerage fees are beyond comprehension, add duty etc and it gets simply ridiculous. There's even a place that has what I like in Mississauga (30 minute drive) but they only ship via UPS with what equates to a 40% shipping charge, no pickups permitted for parts. No fair deals around here so far...sadly, money comes a lot slower in these times so I can afford to be patient. |
