I have a SBC04 stepper controller that has a shorted component on the heatsink. There are a quantity of 4 of these components each in a T03 Metal package with no label whatsoever on them. Next to these 4 components are qty 4 more T03 Metal package components With a label on them of BUV11. I took the component out of circuit that I believe to be shorted and also took out another of the unlabeled components that may be good and it measures like an NPN bi-polar transistor. The BUV11 is also an NPN according to its datasheet. Anyone have a schematic for these SBC04 controllers that might show the part number of the mystery component? Maybe there is simply a total of eight BUV11's and RTA erased the label on four of them to create confusion for someone trying to repair it? |
