Hello, I'm Building a new machine and I have the stepping motors already in my house but they are relatively large (4 N.m) while I need only (1.5 N.m) for my new machine. The problem is that if I buy motor drivers to drive the motors with full torque it will be expensive for me. So I'm thinking of buying drivers for (1.5 N.m) to drive the (4 N.m) motor and I expect them to do the job at the exact (1.5 N.m). And the Question is : Is this right or the drivers will blow up ?? |

| It should work fine.

| Hi Waleed! Supplied amps define motor torque. So if for example your 4Nm motor is 6A and you drive it with 2.25A, it will output only 1.5Nm. http://crevicereamer.com/Page_2.html CR.
