Looks the manufacturer in china has introduced a new 3, 4 & 5 Axis board based on the Allegro 3977.
Is Allegro 3977 any better then the Toshiba TA8435H ?
It would more difficult to replace the Allegro 3977 if it was ever blown.
Thanks.

The problem with an all in one board is ground noise, although it may be an starter board for you. What happens if you blow one axis ? Throw it away !
I've tested the Allegro 3977 and found it very smooth but it runs too hot and is hard to heatsink. Those heatsinks they have glued on in the picture would do little since they are on the epoxy.
Also its only 35 volts, which is low for any speed.
