I have offered to repair a good friend's benchtop cnc vertical mill (brand name of no significance) as one day it stopped in the middle of a program.
It has a J $ S Products Inc. (Irvine, CA.) aftermarket add-on cnc controller of an approximate early to mid 90's vintage. J $ S is apparently gone! I have diagnosed the problem down to an integrated circuit on one of the motor controllers, of which there are three in the box. I have found no identification on any of these controllers. Each is powered by 120VAC, and they are daisy chained together with selector jumpers on each board to identify I believe the X, Y, and Z axes. Would anyone know who the manufacturer is of these controller/drivers? Thanks in advance!
