    unipolar to bipolar eqv.

Hello , I have 3 rapidsyn nema 34's that are 6wire and a voltage 1.65 and 6.8A Im not sure what the bipolar rating should be when wired in bipolar series? I have gecko 201 drives and cannot find any additional info on the motors the Model is 34D-9213B my guess is to use 3.3V as a starting point for for power supply sizing Any input would be helpful

Based on the spec sheet for my Keling 425 oz. 8 wire steppers, it looks like you need to reduce the amps by 20-25%

If you set the amps a bit low, the motors will not produce as much power as they could. If you set the amps too high, the motors will get hotter than they should.

Series = Full Winding (end wires used, center-tap ignored).
    Set the G201 to 3.4A (6.8A / 2). Use a 47K 1/4W current set resistor.

Maximum power supply must not exceed 20 times the motor's rated voltage. You are correct, in full-winding mode the voltage is 3.3V making 66V as the maximum supply voltage.
