| Drivers for those are quite expensive. And as far as I know there is no "hobby level" driver for 5-phase. Even if there is, it will be more expensive as it needs more driver transistors. If you cannot recover/rebuild those from the copier, you are probably better off looking for 2-phase motors. Those I know of making 5-phase drivers are Vexta and Berger-Lahr. There probably are others. |

| You will be better off buying some cheap bi-polar steppers, and using a xylotek or gecko's. 5 phase controllers are not cheap and without the controller the motors you have are not usable. Sell them on ebay and get some you can use.
