Help me on Vexta PH265-02-c3 & PH266-03-c1

Hi...
Please Help..

I got used Vexta :

PH265-02-c3, 2 phase, 12v, 0.42A, 2.2", 6 wires and
PH266-03-c1, 2 phase, 24v, 0.3A. 2.2" , 6 wires

( 6 wires are : black,yellow,white,blue,red & light green)

I buy it at junk market for Rp 50.000,- (US$ 5) each.
The motors seem look good.

I need info about this motor..

What is the wiring?
is this motor unipolar or bipolar?
What controller/driver meet this motor?

I plan to bould CNC router for balsa, the machine/machanic part is ready..
I just wait to build controlller.

Thanks Guys

Best Regard
Jlagran Heli

Buy me a Beer?

They are unipolar.

Ideally, you would want to use motors rated 6V or less. The higher voltage motors like you have won't be able to spin very fast.

If you go to the oriental web site, you should be able to find wiring diagrams for any 6 wire motor. If the colors are the same, I'd say the wiring diagrams should match.

Thanks..
What is the different between Unipolar and Bipolar?
In this case unipolar, how many polar does this motor have? 3, 4?

I just wondering what kind/type of controller meet this motor..
The oriental web doesnot have this type, maybe its just old product..

here the picture

Thanks

Hi...

now i know it...

unipolar is: go to left and go to right
bipolar is : + - and - + (change polarity)

am I right?

and unipolar can be changed to bipolar right? (not reversible)

I just see the web:

http://www.stepperworld.com/
It help much.

Jim can you send bigger picture?

can anyone show me the scheme/circuit of simple bipolar driver with FET or power Transistor?

Thanks.

The site limits attached images to 800x800 so I had to scale it down to fit. I can email you the original if you post your address.

There are a few bipolar/unipolar driver circuits posted on cnczone that are fairly simple to make.

We have one based on the LMD18245 3amp driver chip that is microstepping capable. Bare PCB board, schematic and source code are available on my website. A bit more expensive to put together but the performance is much better then the typical unipolar half/full step drive circuits found on the web.
