| Any micro stepping over 10 is wasted. The best cheap drive is the new 10 microstep Gecko 251s which can be bought now at the introductory price of $37. Your best bet is the $299 all in one G540. http://geckodrive.com/product.aspx?c=3&i=14469 CR. |

| It is useful to double check motor inductance specs vs the driver. Many of the motors out there are fairly high inductance, so not so great with a chopper driver concept. Look up " linistepper driver " if your motors can run in unipolar mode, and they are high inductance. Sometimes, this helps reduce resonance, since the driver is based on linear control vs pwm. |
