I was just given an unregulated 28v 8A power supply (Acopian) by a friend. I was thinking I might be able to use it to power a stepmaster board. The voltage range is stated @ 30vdc (no load) to 25vdc (full load). Would this be a problem? Thanks-Jeff  |

Jeff, Welcome to the Zone. Have you tested the output of your power supply? As long as it is under 30 volts the voltage is fine, however you did not mention the amperage requirements of the stepmaster. Jeff... |
