I try to drive step motor manually using AVR and L298. for one full step, I use these sequence 1000, 0100, 0010, 0001. for every each of I only can put a delay 1ms or higher. less then 1ms, the stepmotor just "vibrate" on same position. can somebody help me with this |

I doubt you want to hear this. That's just the way steppers are. They are not fast moving motors. If you want high speed, servo motors are the way to go. in my shop... I use my stepper CNC (only one) for my intricate carving machine (my gun grips) and have my servo machines for the fast work. If you really need to step up (no pun intended) to a faster machine chances are you can get a servo drive upgrade for your machine. |
