I just fired up my 4 x 8 plasma table and I'm already planning a few 'revisions'. The steppers on this are Pacific Scientific powermax II M22 65 volt motors. I would like to get at least one and possably 1 extra as a spare. I've been watching Fleabay but most of what I'm seeing listed are the M21 single stack motors and most of these are in the 5 to 24 volt range. I don't really need new as good used will work for me (and my wallet). Any thoughts? |

| 65V is the max for those motors, not the rated voltage. I bought 4 on Ebay about 5 years ago. (They're not for sale ) They used to be pretty common then. Now with cheap chinese motors available for less than those were used, you don't see them too often. You might want to look at motors from http://kelinginc.net/ or www.homeshopcnc.com
