Hello, this is my first post, my name is Bernhard and I'm writing from Munich, Bavaria. I found a nice stepper motor in a surplus shop, hoping to use it in a project where a lot of torque will be required ![]() The motor has 6 wires: white with blue stripe purple or magenta(?) blue white with red stripe black white and the label says: Step-Syn STEPPING MOTOR TYPE 103-714-0343 SHARP PN RM0TS0006CEZZ DC 4.95V 1.8A 1.8 DEG/STEP LOT NO. 11526 SANYO DENKI CO.,LTD. 6037608-2 MADE IN JAPAN Could somebody please point me to a datasheet or give me some essential specs? Thank you very much & bye... Last edited by 12step; 06-13-2008 at 12:35 PM. Reason: add pinout info |

The best you can do is look at the similar parts in the Sanyo catalog - this is likely to be a fractional Nm motor, maybe .6Nm, but the best way to find out is to measure the holding torque. If you're looking for a lot of torque you need a bigger frame motor - NEMA34 or bigger... you might be lucky and find that in a surplus store, but usually what comes out of printers etc are low-torque motors... |
