    Stepper motor brands

I am fairly comfertable sizing stepper motors, but do not know quality between different brands. I understand that personal preference will dictate a lot but was wondering if I could get some opinions on low end to high end stepper motor brands. Or if there is really no difference then let me know that as well. Price is naturally a concern but am certaintly willing to pay more for better quality. Thanks for your time and opinion

Most of the motors you see advertised here are made in China, and are of unknown brand. Good quality brands are Vexta (Oriental Motor) and Pacific Scientific. Expect to pay about double for the brand name motors. 4 years ago, used PacSci motors cost more on Ebay than the chinese motors are new.
