Hi!!! Sorry, may be this is not the correct thread... I`m looking for a gold member to make some questions, may be you can give me a hand..
1) I`m making a 5 axis mill for work soft materials. I`m planing the machine with a 10mm/turn screw and 2000microsteps/turn configuration stepper motor. Do you think that is posible to get 10000mm/minute using a Gecko driver (Or in other words: 1000 RPM in a stepper motor) ??? Which percentage from the holding torque you think I would use at 1000RPM - In an optimized Sanyo-Denky motor?
2) I will use 5 steppers with 4amp/fase (Especificated in serial conection - 4 cables) and 60V. The power supply current is: 5(motors) x 4(amp/fase) x 0,7071(Sin-Cos) x 2(Fases) = 28 Amp ????
Regards!
