Are these FL86STH156-4208 Nema 34 suitable for a 3 meter by 2 meter for cutting Mdf Ply and possibly a plasma cutter they deliver 11.96 Nm not certain how to convert to Oz/Inch or are they overkill. Thanks for any help |

| Thanks for that being that its a steel build the conversion gives about 1600 Oz/in it will be a hung steel gantry X driven from both sides using timing belts no Leadscrews to eliminate whip still on the fence for Y as staying with Belt will keep the weight down a little, but im hoping for an ambitious Z travel as in the future i would like to add a A and C axis and possibly B. iT strikes me from what i read that a bit to much Torque is better than not enough. Right now i just have to match them to Drivers and PSU. Off to the Gecko Forum |
