| Dear All, I am building plasma table by using hybrid stepping motor. I am little puzzled on calculation. Who know the formula to find angular velocity of hybrid stepping motor? I want to take it to find the force(kgs) which is possible of motor to drag load. Here's my spec. of hybrid stepping motor. 1) 1.8 degree per step. 2) Rate current at 2.7 Amps. 3) Phase resistor at 2.9 Ohm. 4) Phase inductor at 17.5 mH. 5) Holding torque at 850 N.cm min.( about 1200 oz.in) 6) Detent torque at 24.5 N.cm max. 7) Rotor inertia at 2500 g.cm2 8) Lead wire at 8 wires. Hope your help Mongkol |

| Force (ounces) = ((2 x pi x torque)/ lead) x screw efficiency. You'll need a torque chart for you motor to find it's torque at any given rpm.
