Hello:

Have a Powermax II stepper motor with steps every 1.8 degrees or 200 steps per revolution.

If I want to use 1/8 microstepping am I correct in assuming this correlates to 1600 steps per revolution.

With 1/8 step you will have 1600 steps per revolution, but the steps will not necessarily be evenly spaced.
