| I just bought one of these stepper motors. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...+motor+encoder It came with an encoder and now I am wondering if I can hook up the encoder. I am using a Xylotex board. The motor works great and I have been able to increase my cutting speed by 50% over the 116 oz-in motor that I was using, but if I go faster, say 50" per minute. I lose steps occasionally. I thought that if I could utilize the encoder, I might solve this problem and be able to make this machine really move. Any help is appreciated. Trent |
