I have several questions about some stepper motors I have bought. The first questions regards some of these: SIGMAX 1.8 STEP MOTOR Model #: M21NSXB-JSS-NS-02 2.97 V(DC) UNIPOLAR 3.3 A(DC) UNIPOLAR I bought these cute little motors thinking they would provide me with about 100in/oz of torque. It says they are unipolar, it list the specs as above but they have 8 pins sticking out of the motor for conection with a plug. Are they unipolar or are is it my chioce to use them as bipolar or unipolar. I read that with 8 wire steppers you could wire it either. If I can use these as bipolar how much torque can I expect to have to play with? I also have some larger Powerpac motors Model#K31SSFS-LEK-SS-02, they have 8 wires but are labled bipolar. I am looking for some way to determine how to wire these motors ie which wire goes where in a bipolar setup. Danny |

| When wired bipolar you'll get about 1.4 times the unipolar torque. Wiring info for the bigger motors can be found in here. http://www.xylotex.com/PacSciDS.pdf
