Motor Enclosures for waterproof

Has anybody enclosed there stepper motors make them waterproof and if so could you please tell me how to go about doing this. I would like to enclose my motors to make them waterproof and to allow a place to attach rubber hose to to make my motors and wires waterproof and to provide a more rigid connection for my wires so they are not exposed to the elements is this possible i am concerned about enclosing the motors due to the possibility of execessive heat could some one please advise me on this matter

You would probabally have to make a totally closed non-ventilated enclosure, this could be on the same lines of what is done on AC & BLDC servo's, the stator is mounted in a fined aluminum enclosure, it should fit as tight as possible to the existing stepper frame.
Check out pictures of AC servos to get an idea.
You can get both plastic and metalic flex conduit down to 3/8".
