    STEPPER v/s SERVO

    I am going to retrofit my Gorton vertical milling machine to CNC. Which motor I should select "Servo or stepper" cost will be a major criteria.

    Stepper will be far cheaper, but you can achieve far better accuracy and speed with a servo system.
