Motor and Controller question

I am a bit of a newbie so bear with me.
I was looking at buying a guy I know cnc. He made on off of JGRO design. I was looking at upgrading the motors cause they are a bit small (112oz at 20ipm). He is using a unipolar 4 axis controller.

I was looking at motors and most are bipolar.

Can I use a bipolar motor with a unipolar controller?

What is the largest motor I can use with that controller?

(I was looking at upgrading to 294oz)
What size power supply should I look for?

If the motors are 4 wire motors, you can't use them with a unipolar controller. if they are 5,6 or 8 you can use them unipolar. Does anyone know what is the largest size of motor I can use with that controller card? and what size of power supply should I get for the 294 oz motors? How many amps?

It seem's that no one answered your question, did you used that controller (MC433) and if so what type of power supply did you used....

Back in the hobby and had to start the reading all over again, ho boy....

My project started on a Joe's 2006 made out of Birch ply, (pretty stiff) and left it after I bought that card and Keling's motor, and now looking for info on something similar that I could use for my set up.
