    3-wire stepper inquiry

    Hi

I have an automotive suspension setup with steppers to adjust the dampers via a remote (in-cab) control. In looking at the steppers, they are 3-wire. I am not able to find any information (so far) on 3-wire steppers- specifically, how they are wired internally, and how they are driven/phased.

Does anyone happen to know anything about 3-wire? Any feedback, or links to info would be greatly apprecaited-

    Regards,

3 wire steppers are most likely 3phase steppers like the KT60 series from Trisyn.
I use this steppers on my router. They are saved from copiers and we were able to save the driverboards too so I could take the HA13532 3phase stepping motor controller and the SLA6023 driver from the board and build the application from the HA13532 datasheet. They do a excellent job on 1200 steps.
The datasheets of the controller and drivers can be found on the net. If you need more info just pm me. I did not work with the router for the last year so i have too dig for data too.
