Hello all, I'm new here. I have a stepper motor with 5-12 vdc and 60 ohms. I want to figure out what driver is needed; specially, the ampres needed. 12/60 = .2 amps. I am wondering if .2 amp is per coil or overall. If it is per coil, what is the total ampres? Any suggestion for drivers for my unipolar stepper motor(42sh-32kca)? I am also wondering if I user 8 AA batteries, will I able to drive the stepper with that(enough ampres)? If not, what kind of power supply is appropriate? thx in advance.  |
