Need Help Matching Steppers To Screws

Hi everyone and thanks for all the help. I have 3 vexta steppers they are the same size as pv269 4 wire but they have a custom winding the pv269 has 2.8a 4.2v my steppers are 4.4a 2.5v i called vexta the tech told me that my steppers would have more torque if i could supply enough power. My 1st question is more torque and less speed or more torque and more speed than stock pv269 ? how do you think my steppers will preform using a 38v power supply? I am building a 4x8 router so i dont know if i should use a 10 tpi lead screw or a 5tpi lead what wouid be a good balance for speed and torque? here are the specs. for the stock pv269. Feel free to give me some ideas thanks

If they are 440oz motors, I'd use a 5tpi max, maybe even 2tpi. And up to a 50V power supply. More voltage will give you faster speeds.
