    17PM-H311-P1 specification

    Hi!
I have searched a lot and cann't find specification for that MINEBEA stepper motor.
I know that it's a unipolar stepper (6 wires) and as I measured resistance it's about
7 Ohm PH. So any help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

PS. Here is all what can be read from motor

    Hi,

    this site has(d) the info:
    http://www.eminebea.com/content/html...or/index.shtml

but I can't open it now, maybe their server is down?

If you can't access it in the near future: I have several similar motors and might have printed or noted down info, just let me know.

I've searched their site and can't find docs for PM-H series
As I can see H series is also "hybrid" not "permanent" type and the base of the motor
    is quadratic not circle.

I have attached image of motors label ...
In the mean time, I buy digital multimeter and measured resistance of coils. So from
the one end to the middle tap, resistance is 7 ohms. Motor has 6 wires.

After reading similar specifications for the minebea motors, I can suppose that current can
be about 0.6 - 0.8 amps but it would be much nicer to have original data.

    Thanks in advance.

You probably have a custom motor, finding the exact data will be difficult if not impossible.
This page describes the model number digit information:
    http://www.eminebea.com/content/html...st/index.shtml

You will have to compare with a similar motor and eventually start driving it with lower amps and increase if needed.

Home build CNC with steppers type 34PM-C042

I have a home build CNC machine with on xyz axis steppermotor type
    34PM-c042.

It seems the max stepping rate is about 1500 steps/sec. I donīt know if this is rather low or high? In the software I set 400 steps for 1rev, to move 2.5mm. The max speed to calculate is 9.375mm/sec.

The motor gets 2Amp. (This is not measured but a controller spec.)

Looking for specifications to. Wondering how to increase speed.
