Alright, this has had me pulling my hair out. I am using a stepper driver from stepmaster - datasheet I am pretty sure it is working correctly. I have adjusted the current and PFD according to that sheet. Voltage tests show ~5v comming out of A and B# all the time and ~5 v out of A# and B when I enable the axis. My stepper motor is Lin Engineering's 4218L-04-07 1.2A 6 wire stepper wiring guide (red, white, blue, green, yellow, black) I don't actually have a data sheet but I have confirmed that the wires that are shown in the wiring chart are infact correct through resistance testing. So when I connect the servo according to the half coil method I should have -----Setup 1---Setup 2 A----Red-------Blue A#---White-----White B----Green------Black B#---Yellow-----Yellow Neither of these setups produces anything but a small shuddering that occurs even when the axis is disabled. So I tried to wire it in series (A-red, A#-blue, B-green, B#-black) this time with no results. I then tested the servo by rotating the contacts between a 9v and I was able to get it to rotate fully (with a wire in between each fingers this was really fun). So maybe I'm missing something obvious or I just misread something but I'm out of ideas so any help would be greatly appreaciated. |

| I would suggest you contact stepmaster. Doubt the motor is the problem.
