Could someone be so kind as to direct me to where i could find specs on VEXTA Model 3127-9212 I can't find any thing on Orental Motor / Vexta Web Site, I think the motor is too old, But I have a lead on 300 pieces (NOS sealed Vexta Boxes) and I need to know more than the label tells me. Torque rating values, curves, etc. I Ohmed the motor so I have an idea which leads of the six leads are which but a spec sheet would still be a nice thing to have. Any input on what the $$ value for these motors in single quanity? What's too much to pay for these motors? Thanks

| Rated at only .34 amps at 4.8 volts, I would expect the torque to be very low. You could easily measure the holding torque by attaching an arm to the shaft and applying the rated voltage between the center and one outside wire of each phase(3 new D batteries would be close to 4.8 volts). Then hang a weight off the arm close to the shaft, and slide it out on the arm until the motor slips. Multiply the weight times the distance from the shaft and you have the holding torque. Near the bottom of this page shows hanging a cup off a 6" arm and adding quarters to the cup till the motor slips. http://www.hans-w.com/cnc.htm |
