    Neat PC38 w/module, 103M Controller...Win 3.1/386 and 12X12 x-y

I just bought the above, and had it shipped cross-continent.

Okay, okay. Before you take me for a total moron; I did it on bad advice.

However...It does seem to run smoothly enough, but I had no idea it would be such a challenge to make it do straight-forward .ai vector work.

The computer's got VB4.5, QB, C+. It opens in(NORTON) DOS, and I've run the existing .oms files that were left on the drive to the Table, and it works. I've also run those same files from OMSCOMM interface in WIN, and they work...
That's good, because my wife is upstairs thinking there's hope.

Is there any hope for a modern solution here? I've transferred a few files back and forth with this computer, turning Corel DWG's into ASCII, but the commands aren't right, and I'm just not getting on the right track.

It's a little late to try and sound SMART, so I should also mention that I don't even know what VB4.5 is FOR!! I couldn't arrive here being this utterly ignorant AND expecting mercy, so hopefully my donation covers a few tissues at least!!!!!

AWESOME RESOURCE. Thank you plenty already.

I guess my question then is, "Am I trying to generate .oms files for this?"
