ASTROSYN Miniangle stepper 23LM-C349-01 1.8 degree 6.8 volt .75 amp Unipolar the windings measure 9.7-ct-9.7 ohms 1> If I use this in bipolar with 13.6 volt will I get more torque ????? 2> Will I suffer max rpm loss 3> What problems will the inductance change cause 4> ?? will the inductance decrease , I think so but not sure.. When using k179 simple drive, allegro sla7073mpr[similar to design on Pminmo for sla7062] and Linistepper. In unipolar,it appears that 100khz is the max step rate [no load] before stalling stepper, 3> Does 100khz sound correct ? |

| 1) No. Always run the motor at its rated current hal-winding, 1/2 current full-winding. 2) It will be terrible. 100RPM if you are lucky. The motor needs 140VDC to max it out. 3,4) Full-winding gives 4 times the inductance as half-winding. 3,4) 4-times the inductance = 1/2 the speed. Use half-winding (100RPM). Mariss |
