noob here ![]() I have seen some references to this topic before but I've searched and come up with very little. What I am interested in doing is taking a step driver like http://www.stepmasternc.com/stepmasternc10606_009.htm and adding a fet H-bridge (or whatever may be necessary) to scale voltage and current capability to WHATEVER requirements I may need. With the ability to etch PCBs and plenty of mosfets kicking, as well as experience in building audio amplifiers, I think I could MAYBE pull it off. I need more info though . Can anyone share experiences, give examples, or point me in the right direction? I would truly appreciate !The Gecko stuff looks real good and would probably be just fine for me but I'm really a DIY type of guy. Those Gecko chassis' all sealed up like that bug me ![]() Thanks for reading... Marc |

| It's not that easy. While it could be done, your putting as much hardware for the bridges that there is no reason for the commercial board. Search for the A3986 thread on the zone.
