I have the Stepperworld FET3 and I think I need a bigger heat sink for the resistors. These things get VERY hot mounted on a 6" x 2" x 2" peice of aluminum angle. Anyone have any input? Thanks, buddym Tampa,fl |

| when i run my fet3 i have the resistors mounted on a heatsink with a large fan blowing seems to keep them a little cooler , there is a LOT of heat generated at the resistors ,it's hard to get away from , try to get the aluminum coated resistors ,they disipate the heat quickly sometimes i'd put a pot of beans over the resistors and cook lunch while cutting a part |
