    integrated stepper/driver

Has anyone here used integrated stepper/driver or
stepper/driver/controler systems, such as this one in the link below,
with cnc software such as Mach3, EMC2, Desknc or any of the others?

    http://www.linengineering.com/site/p...ilverpakC.html

I would like to have a compact cnc system with as few boxes and cables
    as possible.

That unit is programable (Has onboard controller) and i dont think will accept clock and direction.
On top of that the Lin motor is quite expensive, and i would suggest the MDrive from IMS because it is a far better product.
Have a look at www.imshome.com, the mdrive is a very good product and with the new mdrive plus range you will be very pleased with the smoothness of motion and performance.
