When sampling current on an sense resistor to control PWM chopping is the norm to sample current at the peak or a filtered average? Or whats the best way to prepare this for input to a comparator. Thanks Ken |

| I'll answer my own question for those that may read this later. Doing some (sometimes distructive) testing with a SLA7021 chip it seems that Sanken regulates the current peak so current never goes above the set value. It goes up to the peak current then the fets shut off for the preset off time and the current starts back up again. Just FYI |
