Here's a list of some, or all, of the printers based on a Canon LBP-SX Engine which use the stepper motors you seek. These are the same motors that I use on my JGRO CNC router. Happy hunting!!! For those that may have missed it, and since the download section is currently a WIP, attached is a repost of my HP LaserJet II/III/IID/IIID Spec./Info Sheet that I compiled while building my CNC table. If anything is in error or you would like to see other information included please feel free to email me. | Looking to spin a set of motors from one of these printers? Why reinvent the wheel? Check out the driver board currently being sold and phased out by HobbyCNC. They are replacing theirs with an updated version called the HobbyCNC PRO Chopper Driver Board which has some extra features. Would you rather make your own boards??? Then check out PMinMO's web site. Highly recommended for all kinds of driver board schematics, layouts, copper masks, interface information, stepper motor info., simple power supply plans, tips and troubleshooting and much, much more. Don't forget, stepper motors liberated from the printers listed above are all 6-wire, UNIPOLAR, stepper motors to the best of my knowledge. Take responsibility for your own actions and verify the motor type, voltage, current, wiring, etc. before attempting to connect them to any driver board or power/signal source. Make sure you choose the correct driver board for your motor type, power supply, etc.
