I am newbie in CNC DIY, and I want to make my first machine. I bought a book in Ebay, CNC ROBOTICS Build Your Own LATHE/MILL Workshop Machine , and it shows how to assemble a driver with L297 and L298 Chips. I have 3 stepping motors, Superior electric, with the following specs.: 1- Slo-Syn 800 oz./ in 200 Steps per rev. 1.45 V 15.2 A DC Type M112 FJ 326 Spec. BM101025 2- Slo-Syn Hold 1125 oz/in 200 steps per rev. 1.45 V 15.2 A DC Type M112 FJ 326 Spec. BM101025 3- Unknown , No Data My question is this, Can I use this driver? Can I use a PC Power supply for the motors? How to wire them? Also I would like suggestions about what machines can I build with this parts. Thank you for your time. |
