    I have 5 phase step motor model VEXTA A3769-9415 5 phase dc 1,7 A 0,72 deg/stepDoes someone can tell me whether this engine can be used as unipolar or bipolar.There are five wire.

    No.

    A 5-phase motor is very different from a uni/bipolar motor. You need a 5-phase driver. As bipolar motors have pretty much matched their performance, 5-phase steppers/drivers have become harder to find, and expensive as well.

    You would probably be better off getting a set of uni/bipolars. Lots more options for driving them. Much simpler too.

    Thank you. Motors are removed from the machine for making foto them I got the drivers but they work only in one direction. Thanks though I will choose for the new combination
