We have recently finished my first build. We purchased no plans and did only the minimal of research. Then I met Len & Jeremy from Probotix and they helped us quickly develop a specification, sources and ultimately the build and tuning of our machine. I owe them a huge plug and debt of gratitude because they went way above and beyond what I would have expected in regards to service, mentor-ship and support for the project. Also I special thanks to Ahren from CNC Router Parts who produced and sold us a custom frame kit.
Our machine is Powered by Probitix and for the most part has been supported by them too. Although financially most of the build came from other sources Probitix by far was most able and willing to support our project. THANKS A MILLION!

why: It is the only router that supports a 1/2 cutter and also work with a Precise Bits collet system

PLUG:
Buy from Probotix because they are willing to responsibly supply and support their products. Do it yourself does not mean “you are on your own” when working with Probotix. Not only are they great with support but they actually seem to enjoy talking to and helping their customers. I have had no issues when any of their parts. The controller is working very well and they provided Plug and play quality service to us. I would also add that all the venders we purchased from where really great!
