Stepper Motor Amp Help

Hi everyone I would like to know if there would be any damage if I apply 1.5 amps to a 1.4 amps motor. I really dont know if there would be any damage since is only .1 amps more, or will it burn the motor

It will be OK, especially if the motor is mounted to a metal machine that can act as a heat sink.
