How to protect driver operating at peak voltage?

I am in the middle of a build and am rapidly prototyping a controller box.

I am running a 50V un-reg PS to Geko drives for the main axis motors.

I have two Keling drives I want to use for a rotary axis. These drives are rated at 50V. Looking at the manual it says this 50V max INCLUDES spikes and back EMF.

I have another PS but am loathe to stick it in this prototype control box.

Is there a way to reduce/clamp/what-ever the 50V feeding the Keling drives?

This need not be a permanent solution. Just enough to test functionality before laying out the permanent control box.

Spikes are one thing but what is the typical allowance for back EMF at the drives? 10 percent? 20 percent?

Anyhow, thanks for any advice you can give me to help get me by this spot.

    BobL.

    Thumbs up My bad

    Ok, the silence speaks volumes.

I put the correct power supply in there like I should have done

    Thanks,
