Hi, Has anyone reviewed the Stepperworld.com FET-3 high current board or the Mechatronics 10 amp board? Than
I think its rather hilarious that stepperworld never actually specifies how many amps the unit is actually rated to manage. Much less how many watts (amps * volts), which is what is really important. They say the fets are rated at 15 amps, 80 Watts, but then go on to say (correctly) that "Each of the 12 Power MOSFETS on this board can dissipate up to 80 watts of power. Because they are not mounted to heat sinks you won't be able to squeeze quite that much power out of them"
There also doesn't seem to be any mention of microstepping modes.
I couldn't find any mention of a Mechatronics 10 amp stepper driver.
