TURNING ON AND OFF MY ROUTER

    Hi,
I have a PMDX122 BOB, Gecko G203V drivers and a SSR relay that needs between 3 to 5 volts to be activated and can handle 120AC Volts and 30 Amps and running Mach3
Here is what I want to do, I would like that Mach3 would start and stop my router with the proper Gcodes.
Can you tell me if it is possible and if so guide me to these steps.
    Thank you

Connect the relay to an output pin.

In Mach3, go to Ports and Pins > Output Signals, and assign that pin to Output #1.

Then go to the Spindle Setup (still in Ports and Pins), Uncheck "Disable Spindle Relays" and assign Output 1 to "Clockwise (M3)". You may want to add a few seconds of delay to "CW Delay Spin Up" So the router is up to speed before it starts cutting.

Now M3 should start your spindle, and M5 should stop it.

    SSR relay

    Hi to all
I have install a SSR to turn my router on and off, it is working properly when Mach3 is open, my BOB is a PMDX122, so can I ask for more ? Maybe

My problem is when I start up Windows the router also starts, when I can think about it I shut down the router manually before closing Windows, but this situation is on the dangerous side.
    Any help will be appreciated
    Thank you

Especially if using an SSR you should also have a an E-stop relay that shuts power off the drives and spindle.
Once the PC is booted up and ready, releasing the E-stop enables both drives and spindle.

If you have an Emergency stop (E-stop) it should remove input power to the drives and spindle by relay IOW the coil(s) should be hard hardwired in the E-stop circuit.

You're machine should never have power applied unless Mach3 is up and running.
Your board does have a charge pump to prevent this, but the safest way is to not turn on the power until Mach3 is running, and turn the power off before shutting down Mach3.
