    Question parallel or series for more power

    hi guys the motors in question is nema34
    78mm long
    1.8 step angle
    320n.cm
    80vdc/6.4amps
    2 phase
    4 wires out,
    which would have more power, wired in parallel or wired in series???

    If I have correctly understood your question, since you have a 4-wire motor you do not have any option in the way that you wire it up.

    Normally the question of bipolar parallel or series wiring of windings comes into play if you have an 8-wire motor.

    Yeah, 4 wires is only bipolar, and you have no control over that, but it can be series or parallel bipolar depending on how the mfgr wired it up inside the motor.
