    Cheap steppers?

    Hello!

Would these be usable for a small cnc mill (hexapod or benchtop)?

    JDK-Dynasyn type 68090
    2-phase bipolar, Hybrid stepper.
    5 ohm/phase, 7.5mH/phase.
    1.8 degree/step.
    Size 23: 57,2 x 57,2 x 40mm.
    Holding torque unknown.

They are the cheapest i have found in Sweden so far @ ~$10 each.

    /Jay

I am not familiar with that stepper but I have found many steppers and miscellaneous parts in old computer printers. Here in the U.S. Pawn shops, Garage sales and Flea markets are good sources for old printers. The older the better. 1980 style printers have tons of mechanical parts including some fairly large steppers.

    I hope this helps.
