Hi: I got hold of a mm2001 board missing some chips. I programmed the 16f874 on a chip programer. I only connected 1 stepper. I apply power to the driver board and then turn on the computer. The stepper is locked up until the computer boots, then it releases. I have found several places on the web that tells me how to set the direction and step. I have tried several programs with out any luck. I am new to this. I built a desktop just to use with this board as I tried it with a laptop and was told that might be the problem. Can anyone that is using this board, tell me what program they are using and what all the settings are that they use so that I can load the program using their settings and then I will either have steppers moving, or I can at least mark off some things that could be a problem. I could have the steps and directions wrong, I could have the motors wired wrong, it could be anything!
I really would appreciate any help I can get.
